International and Foreign Travel

I was at a Barnes & Noble the other day and noticed they had an international travel section and a foreign travel section. Is there a difference? According to B&N international travel consists of traveling to South America, Europe and Africa. Foreign travel consists of traveling much further to Asia and the "Far East" consisting of Korea, Japan and China among others but also includes Australia and New Zealand.

Is there really a difference between international and foreign travel? Apparently Barnes & Noble think so.
