NBA Playoffs
The NBA playoffs start today at 3pm, they are much different from college basketball and March Madness b/c there is less luck involved in the NBA. The better team usually wins the series unless the other team gets lucky with a 0.4 seconds left buzzer beater to steal a game.
There are a few intriguing matchups in the first round but I'm really interested in watching the Cavs-Wiz series which has the potential to go to 7 games and features LeBron and Gilbert, two great players to watch. The other series that could be interesting are the Clips-Nuggets and Suns-Lakers. The only reason I say the Suns-Lakers is that Kobe could make it interesting if he averages about 50 points a game and Odom and Kwame both play well.
In the end though, I think it will be Spurs-Pistons in the Finals with the Pistons winning in game 7 at home. Basically the opposite of what happened last year.
