National Air and Space Museum

CGI-AMS had their annual corporate shindig a while ago and they hosted it at the National Air and Space Museum Steven F. Udvar Hazy Center. Here's some pics from there. They had some old planes there, I think its a B-52 Super Fortress and some other Nazi plane on the bottom.

Here's the enola gay.

They also have a concorde here.

They have the first space shuttle built by NASA. Most of it could be still used to fly a mission. The guide there told us that they took part of the wing from this shuttle so they can study what happened in the Columbia space shuttle crash. Its one of their main attractions since its the center piece of a room dedicated to space exploration.

Their other main attraction would have to be the Blackbird SR-71.

Then the guide told his that this is some next-gen fighter jet for the air force that's not in service yet. I think it might have been the X-35B? not sure though They basically gave them the plane but stripped out all of the electronics and engine from it.
