Le Grand bleu
Saw the Le Grand bleu (English: The Big Blue) by Luc Besson who also did Leon (The Professional) and The Fifth Element. It was suggested by one of my apartment mates, can you guess which one? I didn't like this movie as much as the other two but it still had some good points. In short its about these two divers who grew up together and follows their life when they become older and compete for the world record of diving (how deep they can dive). There was a lot of pretty underwater shots with the actors and dolphins but we saw the director's cut so it about 3 hours long when the original was only an hour and half. I would probably have enjoyed it if it was only an hour and a half movie.
